About these batman coloring pages
Batman is one of the most drawable heroes there is: a pointed cowl, a sweeping cape and that unmistakable bat emblem read instantly on any page. This set puts the Dark Knight through his whole range, from a calm arms-crossed portrait to a full-speed run, a rooftop crouch on a stone gargoyle and a mid-air glide with his cape stretched into wings over the city.
Beyond Batman himself you get the sidekicks kids ask for by name: Robin, Batgirl and Nightwing, plus the vehicles that make Gotham fun to color, the Batmobile, the Batwing and the Batcycle. Then come the villains, Joker, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Riddler, Penguin, Bane, Mr. Freeze, Two-Face and Scarecrow. Easy pages use thick bold outlines while detailed scenes open up whole Gotham nights. All free to print on US Letter or A4.
Coloring tips and activities
- Batman's suit is famously dark, so lean on shading rather than flat fill, keep his cape deepest and let the emblem and belt stay a touch lighter to pop.
- Give the villains loud, clashing palettes on purpose. The Joker, Harley and the Riddler are supposed to look wild next to Batman's muted tones.
- On the Batmobile and Batwing, add a few streaks of white along the panels and canopy so the metal reads as sleek and polished.
- For the Bat-Signal and Gotham skyline pages, color the sky darkest at the edges and lightest around the beam so the light really glows.
