About these ninja turtles coloring pages

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are made for coloring: four shelled heroes with matching bandana masks, each carrying a different weapon, plus a whole underground world of allies and villains. This set gives every turtle his own pages — Leonardo with his twin katanas, Michelangelo with his nunchucks, Donatello with his bo staff and Raphael with his sai — then teams them up for the action every fan wants.

The Easy pages are single characters in bold, confident poses — a standing turtle, a portrait, a slice of pizza, Master Splinter and April O'Neil. The detailed pages open up the story: the team action pose, the sewer lair, battles against Shredder and the Foot Clan, Krang in his android body, Bebop and Rocksteady, the Party Wagon and rooftop chases across the city. Every page prints free on US Letter or A4 as PDF or PNG.

Coloring tips and activities

  • Each turtle is told apart by his bandana mask and weapon — pick a different mask shade for Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael so the team reads at a glance.
  • Give all four turtles the same green skin and shell tone, then vary just the masks, belts and weapon wraps — that consistency is what makes them look like a team.
  • Cross-hatch the shells with a slightly darker tone along the segment lines so they look hard and curved, and leave the plastron on the chest lighter.
  • On the big battle and sewer pages, keep the brick, pipes and background light so the turtles and their weapons stay the stars of the scene.
