About these venom coloring pages

Venom is a shape made almost entirely of texture: a huge grin of jagged teeth, a long curling tongue, a spider mark across the chest and a body that keeps sprouting tendrils. That is why nearly all of these pages are detailed work aimed at teens and adults.

There are simpler pages too. A standing figure, a face front on and the chest mark on its own give younger colorers a way in with thick outlines. Then the set opens out into rooftop crouches, tendril bursts, transformations and full city night scenes. Every page prints free on US Letter or A4 as a PDF or a PNG.

Coloring tips and activities

  • Work dark to light on these pages. Fill the body first, then leave the teeth, the eyes and the chest mark as white shapes.
  • Leave the tongue paler than the body so it reads as a separate thing rather than part of the head.
  • Keep every tendril the same shade as the body and only shade where they overlap — that is what makes them look like they are growing out of it.
  • On the city scenes, keep the buildings pale so the figure stays the darkest thing on the page.
