About these tiana coloring pages
Tiana gives a colorer two very different worlds in one story: a beaded ball gown with layered petals, and a bayou full of cypress roots, lilies and fireflies. The easy pages take the simplest of each — the princess standing, a water lily, a frog on a pad, a chef's hat — with thick outlines and big open shapes.
The detailed pages open both worlds up. A grand gown with fine beadwork, a restaurant of tables and lamps, a paddle boat on the river, a bayou at dusk thick with hanging moss, and a jazz band mid tune. Every page prints free on US Letter or A4 as a PDF or a PNG.
Coloring tips and activities
- Colour the gown's underskirt paler than the bodice. The layered petal shapes then read as separate layers instead of one mass.
- Keep the bayou water very pale and the cypress trunks dark. That single contrast makes the whole swamp scene work.
- Leave the fireflies white with nothing around them — they only glow if the air near them stays clear.
- On the water lily pages, colour the pads in two close tones so the pond does not go flat.
