About these peacock coloring pages

Few birds were made for coloring quite like the peacock. These original designs run from a friendly cartoon peacock with three big rounded tail feathers to a realistic bird in full display and ornate feather mandalas built from ring after ring of eye-spots. Along the way you get peachicks, peahens, garden scenes and single feathers shown large.

The Easy set keeps the tail to a few bold feathers with thick outlines, while the detailed pages fan the train wide and pack every eye-spot with fine barbs and bands. All free to print on US Letter or A4 as PDF or PNG.

Coloring tips and activities

  • The tail is a free color guide: work each eye-spot from a pale outer ring inward to a darker center so every feather reads as round rather than flat.
  • Peacock trains glow with teal, emerald and gold, but the eye-spots also look striking in a single bold shade repeated across the whole fan.
  • Leave a thin sliver of white paper along the top edge of the neck and the crown feathers — those unfilled highlights are what make the bird look glossy.
  • For the big fanned pages, plan your palette before you start: pick two or three colors for the eye-spots and repeat them in a rhythm so the fan stays unified.

Yes — every page is free for personal and classroom use. Print directly sized for US Letter or A4, or download the PDF or PNG for as many copies as you need.

Do you have detailed peacock pages for adults?
Yes — the peacock mandala, the ornamental feather pattern and the full realistic display fan the train wide and pack every eye-spot with fine detail for patient, careful coloring.
