About these panda coloring pages

Pandas are made for coloring: a big round body, dark patches around the eyes and a stalk of bamboo never far away. This set runs from roly-poly cartoon cubs to carefully observed giant and red pandas, so there's a page whether you want a quick five minutes or a slow, detailed afternoon.

The Easy pages are chubby kawaii pandas with thick simple outlines — a sitting panda, a curled sleeper, a cub with a bamboo stalk. The Detailed pages spell out real anatomy: the giant panda's heavy build and eye patches, the red panda's pointed ears and ringed tail. All free to print on US Letter or A4 as PDF or PNG.

Coloring tips and activities

  • Leave the panda's belly, face and back mostly white — pandas read as panda because of the contrast, so color only the ears, eye patches, shoulders and legs dark and keep the rest of the paper bare.
  • Bamboo loves greens: layer a bright leaf-green over a soft yellow-green and add a touch of teal in the shadows so the stalks and leaves look fresh rather than flat.
  • For the red panda, work rust and warm chestnut over the body, keep the face and ear tips pale, and add crisp dark rings down the tail for that signature look.
  • Markers give cartoon cubs a bold, punchy finish, while colored pencils layer the soft fur and fine face detail on the realistic pandas far more convincingly.

Frequently asked questions

Are these panda coloring pages free to print?
Yes — every panda page is free for personal and classroom use. Print directly at US Letter or A4 size, or download the PDF or PNG.
Do you have both giant pandas and red pandas?
Both. The Detailed pages include lifelike giant pandas eating and climbing plus red pandas with their pointed ears and ringed tails, while the Easy pages are chubby kawaii cartoon pandas and cubs.
Which pages suit toddlers and preschoolers?
The Easy set — try the simple sitting panda, the big panda face, or the panda holding one bamboo stalk — all use extra-thick outlines and big simple shapes for little hands.
