About these jungle coloring pages
A jungle is the densest thing a colorer can be given, and that is exactly why it is satisfying. Broad leaves, hanging vines, layered canopy and animals hidden between them. The easy pages pull one thing out at a time — a monkey, a parrot, a big leaf, a snake on a branch — with thick outlines and plenty of white space.
The detailed pages put it all back. A canopy scene with six animals in it, a waterfall through hanging vines, a river bank of ferns and roots, and full pages of layered leaves for anyone who wants an hour of quiet work. Every page prints free on US Letter or A4 as a PDF or a PNG.
Coloring tips and activities
- Use at least three different tones for the leaves. A jungle drawn in one shade turns into a wall.
- Colour the animals first and the foliage around them last, so they never get lost in the greenery.
- Leave a few leaves white on the dense pages. The gaps are what give a canopy its depth.
- On the waterfall pages, leave the water almost entirely white and shade only its edges.
