About these finding nemo coloring pages
An underwater film is ideal coloring material because the reef is already a pattern: anemone tentacles, coral branches, scales and bubbles. The easy pages take one thing at a time — a striped clownfish, a starfish, a turtle, a bubble trail — with thick outlines and big open shapes.
The detailed pages flood the page. A full reef with a dozen species in it, a drifting bloom of jellyfish, a turtle riding a current, a kelp forest and an aquarium tank with its castle and gravel. Every page prints free on US Letter or A4 as a PDF or a PNG.
Coloring tips and activities
- Keep the water almost white. Underwater scenes fail when the background gets darker than the fish.
- Colour the clownfish stripes as bold bands and leave a thin white edge between them — that edge is what makes the pattern pop.
- Give the anemone tentacles two alternating tones so the mass does not turn into one blob.
- Leave every bubble white with a single dark outline. Filled bubbles stop reading as bubbles.
